This smoothie is great pre and post-workout for superhero energy.

Smoothies are a great way to get nutrients into your body quickly so you can spend less time digesting and more time recovering. Spinach is a great source of iron to boost oxygen levels in blood. More oxygen equals more energy for your hard-working muscles.  Avocado has monounsaturated fats to blast belly fat. Strawberries and pears are rich in vitamin C to speed up muscle-tissue repair and fat-burning capabilities.  The omega-3 fats in chia seeds fight against inflammation and boost satiety. The amino acids in vegan protein powder help you build lean muscle tissue for a nice metabolic boost around the clock.

Superhero Smoothie

Serves 2

Ingredients:
2 handfuls of spinach
1 pear
1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
1/2 cup water
1/3 avocado
1 scoop vegan protein powder 
chia seeds and strawberries for garnish

Directions:
Blend first six ingredients in a blender. Garnish with strawberry and chia seeds before serving. ​
